Marble FAQ
Yes. Marble is one of the strongest visual materials for trays, coasters, candle holders, tissue boxes, bowls and display pieces because each piece has natural veining and weight.
Most marble should be sealed, especially for bathroom, dining, tray and table applications where water, oils, cosmetics or acidic liquids may touch the surface.
Calacatta, Statuario, Arabescato and high-contrast Nero Marquina are usually stronger choices for statement luxury pieces. Carrara is better for softer classic interiors.
Marble can be used outdoors only with careful selection and maintenance. For heavy outdoor weather, porcelain, granite or some quartzites are often more practical.
